We drove to Suttons Bay today on the back back roads. It took a bit longer, but was worth it as we passed by farm after farm!!! Sue

We haven't closed the door to the porch since early spring, but today it's closed. The wind is rattling the windows like winter. Sue

Back at the white house............

We drove back to the white house today after six days of painting the shop in Suttons Bay. Found this note on the door. Our first showing!!!!!! Sue

Found two cupboards for the Red Ladder. Sue

Last day of summer.................

Still painting at 106 Adams Street, but took time to enjoy this last day of summer. Sue

The world always looks brighter when we are heading to Suttons Bay........even in the rain. Sue

It's a vegetable soup kind of day. Sue

Squash............

Another sunny day. We picked thirty-two squash and pulled up the squash vines. Sue

Tomorrow..................

It was a beautiful day, but I didn't seem to get much accomplished. Tomorrow we need to work in the garden and pick the squash. Sue

And now.............

I've spent the day doing laundry, grocery shopping, and making vegetable soup. And now I'm going to look at my new House Beautiful. Sue

Good morning from Suttons Bay..............

A beautiful morning in Suttons Bay turned into an all day rain. Mike and I will be going back to our white house in the morning. We'll be going back and forth for awhile until we find an apartment. Sue

Homeless..................

Mike and I have been painting all day at 106 Adams Street. We are still homeless in Suttons Bay. I am stalking three apartments hoping someone moves out soon. The first picture is an apartment directly above our shop. The second apartment is the one we lived in last winter and the last picture is a great old space we rented several years ago. All three have lovely water views! Sue
